Full on joyous psych-rock with a jazzy grin and a prog vibration which runs through their veins like musical haemoglobin.” – Prole Jazz

After two years of relentless gigging, warfare, bloodshed and liquid consumption, Shaku released their anticipated debut album “Maku” in Feb 2020.

Fusing the Proggy Jazz-Rock sounds of the past with the Proggy Jazz-Rock sounds of the future, they are the self-proclaimed pioneers of the Frog Rock genre, supplying a rattling live show that aims to unite the band and audience as one big amphibian family!

Shaku’s six-piece line-up has a lot to look at and plenty to admire live, with the emphasis of the music rotating round the ridiculously talented musicians like a unpredictable carousel, led from the front by imposing lead man Noaik Bedirian.

Being starved of shows since release of their debut long player, we are delighted to welcome this Leeds based band into the fold to make up for lost time.
