The climax of Cloudspotting is in good hands with a Sunday lunch-time performance from the awesome Ordinary Superpowers Band.

Probably the world’s coolest musical ‘education’ group, the musicians in the Ordinary Superpowers Group are on a mission to ignite your imagination, show real musical instruments to a young audience and fuse the power of music and imagination to encourage the origination of new stories.

The band have drums, guitars, keyboard, bass, saxophone and singers. The songs are taken from a brand new published childrens’ book ‘Ordinary Superpowers’ written by Marc Winstanley and including titles like ‘Fire Breathing Dragon’ ‘Watch out for the Romans’ ‘Ancient Egypt’ and ‘Robot and me’ etc.

They have been blazing a trail round Lancashire primary schools with this interactive performance, finishing up on our Centenary Stage to have you all feeling fittingly empowered for your journeys home.

You can listen to the songs in advance by visiting ‘Big Dog Music Production’ on youtube or learn more by checking out www.ordinarysuperpowers.co.uk.
